Ithaka

This early 20th Century home occupied a subdivided property where a formerly spectacular garden gave pause from most of the interior living areas.

Each room now required a change of focus from the colourful outdoors to spacious interiors where entertaining could easily flow to confined outdoor areas without a sense of confinement.

An abundance of natural light was harnessed by opening up smaller rooms and creating a sense of grandeur in open plan living areas whilst new surfaces on the floors, kitchen and bathrooms updated the home whilst retaining its other-worldly charm.
